Fall front yard Reno tttf day 55
So I moved into my house in march and tried seeding then. I didn't know the first thing about lawns and my whole yard became crabgrass/goose grass/fox tail by July. Anyways after being on this site I think I have learned a few basics anyways so I figured I'd reseed in fall. So I did RU in the front yard in the beginning of August. Then In early September I rented a pull behind core aerater from Home Depot and did the front yard. I put about 100 lbs of seed down around the middle of September. We had a huge amount of heavy rain right after I seeded and then another week or so after that we had that storm come through NC. So much of the seed got washed away. I ended up putting about another 100 lbs down by the end of October. I've had trouble with goose grass and fungus since seeding. I plan on ordering some heritage for fungus because as soon as the warm days come back some spots happen instantly. I thought the goose grass was crabgrass at first so i hit it with Drive xlr8 and it only hurt the fescue didn't harm the goose grass at all . With all the trouble it's been it's finally started thickening up and I'm still pleased. I plan on overseeding the front with tttf next fall and renovating the back yard with K31.
Didn't have a camera phone for the first couple weeks of Reno but here are some pics in chronological order.

No. You could read up on the threads that contain both the term "Poa Annua" and "Tenacity". There are only 1,182 of them right now. But it's a long Winter.

So I did some reading and bought tenacity to put down once the tttf starts growing again with warmer temps. The poa annua really came in thick in spots where there was little fescue. I wonder if I can spray tenacity and seed my thin spots early spring and still have time to put down pre emergent for the summer.

Looking good. Did the tenacity bleach the TTFF quite a bit? Anyway, color is looking much better now.
