I could never figure that out. I prefer the deeper greens as a contrast to the (very bright) gardens, for the same reason I don't put in dark flowers on dark green leaves. Yet everybody seems to want chartreuse lawns.

Yuck.

I’m bored this year. I broke my ankle 11 months ago and I’m taking it easy this year. I’ll consider surgery this fall. Major work on my lawn is on hold until next year but my 2014 renovation is still going strong. No weeds. No poa. I did hire someone to mow and fertilize this year. Fertilizer company uses plenty of organics and seems to know what they are doing. With that knowledge comes a price but they sure beat Truegreen. Here’s some pics of my 2014 renovation.
