When did you switch from reel mower back to gas mower? I assume you left the clippings before you made the switch.

I think it was around day 50. I left the clippings throughout my reno, never bagged.

Did you find the growth rate of Nuglade and Bewitched to be similar? You said that the leaves were so close you couldn't tell them apart. I was curious if one drastically outgrew the other or if they were pretty close. From what I gathered from your thread you had the monostand appearance but with 2 cultivars.

As it matured more I was able to tell part. From my observations, Bewitched was a bit more green color and finer, Nuglade was a bit more blue green and wider. Growth rate was close to same. Both were dark, but different hues of green that worked together and looked fantastic.

Thanks, I really enjoyed it. Hope it makes folks document their renovations, it's really cool to look back at it later.

Wow, can't believe it's been 5 years since this renovation. It was so much fun to document the entire process. I think I have pictures from every single day saved.

Quick update on the lawn - As stated in this reno thread I moved to my new current home in 2015, 1 year after reno. I drove by my old house a couple years ago, lawn was a mess. I have not been back since.

Very nice! I was surprised how well grass grows down here. I'm outside of Charlotte as well. I'm waiting to see how my new grass withstands the winter. If it doesn't do well, I may go the full "kill it all" route and go w/ KGB. Very nice though!
