Told most that cared last fall. Honestly pictures on my phone do not do it justice, so much nicer than my tttf I had previously. I can't get over how soft it is to walk on compared to tttf, the wife even noticed that. Now my backyard tttf looks blotchy from all the overseeding with different cultivars...backyard reno 2015? Maybe.

oh man you have the KBG bug have you applied FAS? Wait until next spring when its on its second year it gets a LOT darker IMO... My two year old blueberry is an entire shade darker than my Bewitched reno right now....

Not yet, waiting for some dryer weather. It's actually darker in person than the pics show, but I know it will get crazy dark as it matures. For some reason when it is overcast, my samsung phone's camera yellows greens a bit, not sure why. I have a real good nikon dslr I might have to use.

Everyone keeps talking about how soft KBG is... I don't think I've ever walked on a KBG-only lawn.
Once mine has established, the first thing I'm going to do is roll around in it

It's just the white balance. You might be able to manually set it. But if you've got the dslr then you could do some really nice close ups!

I think the 2 week seedlings are the softest. BUT - my kids like to roll around on the lawn and cuddle it. It really is soft.

My backyard tttf feels like nails in comparison...thats a exaggeration, but you get the point.
Never had a kbg lawn, when I grew up in ct, my dad was a prg guy.

Found a small circular patch (maybe the size of a coffee can or slightly smaller) of tttf in the front. So I guess I had some sort of super tttf blend there that made it through 4 rounds of glyphosate. First I thought it was some sort of grassy weed, then looked closer and it was tttf. Combed through the rest of the yard, that was the only patch. I will dig out and plant a pot of kbg, I plan on saving the tttf patch as an inspiration of perseverance.

Where did you get the dog sign? I love that! I was thinking of making a handwritten poster to ask people not to let their dogs pee on my hell strip but that may be better as it probably won't sound so snooty..

Yeah true, any summer damage should repair quite easily by the next spring. Our winters last 2 years have been very cold, we've had many years when lawn never went winter brown/dormant and kept growing year round. I miss those years.

My lawn made it 6 days between watering. Temps have been in the 80's, dry and windy. Pretty good for a new lawn. Lets see how it does when we get to the 90's. Going to see if I can stretch it out further next watering cycle.

**EDIT - it was 7 days, not 6. Guess I can't count.

Great looking lawn nclawnguy. The lady i bought my place from moved to Kings Crossing, looks alot like that neighborhood. I know the area well, looked for 5 years before buying my new property. Is this the KBG?, looks great.

Thanks, yes this is 100% kbg, 50% NuGlade and 50% Bewitched. I don't live in Kings Crossing, but close to that community.

5/30/15 Lawn pic
Lawn looks fake compared to neighbors struggling fescue. Neighbors have irrigation as well, kbg is blowing away the fescue.
