My seeded areas (Feb 27th) have looked like this for almost 3 weeks now. Finally starting to see a small amount of growth in the sunniest areas.

I did some dormant seeding on my Fall 2016 reno. To be honest I don't think it did anything. The heavy rains likely washed the seed away this spring. I ended up spot seeding areas. Many members warned me that dormant seeding isn't very effective but I thought it was worth a shot since it's as simple as broadcasting seed. But I probably just threw money away...

I didn't have much bad luck with my dormant seed... it's not over yet though, the struggle with disease and heat is coming.
