Looks really good, I'm jealous. Your whole yard looks like my one good area, that shade is a blessing.

But wtf is parking their truck on your seedlings?!?!?! haha

Day 23 and things look good. I have a few areas I needed to reseed for whatever reason. Not sure why the seed didn't grow in these areas, but I reseeded, spread a little compost on top, and we will see what happens.

I did cut it today, certain parts were getting long. I cut at 2 inches.

I did notice in the back, some germination of what I think is Poa. It's not Bewitched, and I don't think it's a weed. I plan on a Tenacity treatment in 2 week, so I will see what happens.

Still watering 3X a day because I reseeded as well as being so dry in Mass. I really want to back off to 2X a day, but another dry week coming up.

This is one area I needed to reseed.

These are the areas I suspect Poa.

Day 30 and I have a lawn again! Really need to mow twice a week, it's really growing fast. The weekly fertilizer applications are really filling in the bare areas nicely and thickening up the grass. Still have a few problem areas, but overall, I'm very happy for a month. Tenacity going down next week.

Thanks everyone, must be the drought in the northeast!! I'm down to watering two times a day for 15 minutes a zone.

Looks great Paul, looking at yours gave me the push I needed to finally pickup some Urea...it's amazing what even one app of it does

Thanks Tsmith, the light apps of N really helps to fill in the bare spots and thicken up the grass. I'm just using Scotts fertilizer and Milo. I'm glad it's going to be cooler and less humid starting tomorrow, because I have a few areas that look like Damping Off. I'm down to watering once a day at 12:00 for 15 minutes per zone.

I used Urea during my last Reno for just that but kept putting off picking up this time for no reason until I saw how full yours looked [THUMBS UP SIGN]

I'll be cutting back again after today when it's supposed to be 88 which is just ridiculous for Sept 23 but we will start to see some real fall temps starting tomorrow.

Applied Tenacity to the entire reno as well as Milo. Things are looking good, and still mowing twice a week. I didn't apply any synthetic fertilzer this weekend, just Milo.

I had one area that the grass just wasn't growing. I reseeded yesterday and when I looked out this morning I saw about 10 turkeys having a field day In that area. I went out and started raking up the mess and noticed grubs. I reseeded again and applied Dylox to the entire yard just be be safe. No damage anywhere else, but I didn't want to take any chances. I assume the turkeys were going after the grubs and not the seed.

Day 60 and overall I'm happy with the way things turned out. Grass filled in nicely over the last 3 weeks with weekly fertilizer applications. I only have one small area that the Turkey's got you that I might need to reseed in the spring.

Did a second Tenacity application yesterday which will be the last for the season.

For some reason I couldn't upload pictures, it was denied. I will try later.

Still looks amazing, nice work. I'm guessing you get a ton of leaves in the fall. Do you mulch them all or remove them?

Gorgeous! Well done! Wish we'd got our Bewitched renovation in 2015 seeded early enough to have a lawn like that going into winter -- I think it would have survived the next summer better!

Yes, I get my fair share of leaves. I Mulch them all, sometimes I need to go over the lawn several times in one mowing just to mulch them to a point where it doesn't look too bad.

Yes, with KBG in the Northeast, Mid to late August is a must. I had an area where Turkeys dug up a small section that I reseeded three weeks ago and I barely have grass in that area. Just not enough sunlight and cooler temps.
