Front Reno (aka "..and this is what lead to the divorce") is set. I have 1500 sq feet and will be applying all lessons learned from my Back 2016 reno. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=20520 I am still a bit on the fence, but I have on hand enough Bewitched to do a monostand. Front has a fair amount of shade, and I am interested in the consistency of a single cultivar.

I've been quiet for a few years but am planning a ~5k sqft reno of the front/side yard using a Bewitched monostand. In the past my seed down date was early Sep but I am shooting for mid Aug this year which means I need to buy seed and kill soon. This is my 5th reno and I'm still anxious.

Thinking about doing 13k of my 36k property. Probably will hold off until next year. Most likely tttf, I may add 10% kbg in.

I'm in for my first reno. Been lurking on the site for a while to read up and make an educated decision on it. Tons to learn still, I know probably just enough to be dangerous at this point.

I'm doing an out 7.5k sq. ft. of a bewitched monostand in central Ohio.

I had an irrigation system installed in mid June to help prep, have my seed on hand, ordered a new sprayer (backpack, battery powered - I hate pumping), and have my glypho and dye as well.

Nervous but excited!

I think I'm in again. I already have 2lbs of bewitched so I might as well throw it in the backyard and see how it does :) I'm thinking of doing an early seeding, around August 10. Got plenty of shade back there and I want an early start this year.

Im all in, after following this forum for two years. My over-seeds always came out well. My hell strip is like fenway park, but the grass in the backyard could never measured up with the POA, I need to start new and with all KBG.

The small backyard is about 1,500sf thats full of POA and god knows what else. I must be crazy going dark green bewitched, blueberry, midnight, and prosperity, when I know there is POA in the yard. Tenacity is going to be a very dear friend if I ever get through this.

Im watering tonight and nuking tomorrow. A thread and pictures in the reno section coming soon.

It’s been a busy summer at work, so I wasn’t sure that I would have the time to document my reno, but with my seed down date coming up, I’m starting to feel it…

My reno is 4K of front yard. It’s my second reno. Last year, I did 4k of back yard . This site has been a major resource. Getting the yard in shape has been a multiple year project, so parceling out the turf has worked for me, because each section has been tied to some other yard remodeling effort.

I’m eliminating a zoysia lawn, and seeding a northern mix.

When did you roundup the Zoysia? To do it right, you should have started trying to kill Zoysia sometime in late June or early July.

(At least if you want to ensure the Zoysia doesn't come back.)

I'd suggest rethinking a renovation if you haven't killed and repeatedly fallowed (over several weeks) the Zoysia already. There's always next year when you can give it the attention needed for a successful renovation.

Sorry I misrepresented… I meant I’m on the late side for documenting, but I’ve been on track for the reno. I just my thread started up …
