Yep, it's getting there. Urea weekly on the areas out of S&P. Yesterday's mow took off more than I thought it would in some spots. Keep encouraging the spread and hope we make it to Spring.

Man I put some seed down 3 or 4 weeks another just germinnated several days ago, so I guess we will find out together. Personally I think the stuff will mostly survive - grass is a hardy plant!!

Man it is still sparse. Just got back from a week's vacation and it really hasn't done a whole lot. I see lots of plugs in my future. Anyone plugged a whole yard? :)

Day 60 pics. Very rough. I have a lot of work ahead of me in the Spring. Plugs and possibly seed. Philes, Alfalfa and Milk.

3 1/2 weeks with no germination in ground. After that I did a germination test with paper towel in a baggie. Zero germination. That test was compared to seed from last year which achieved over 80% germination at the same time and conditions. Last year's seed was used on the reno to moderate success (washouts, root issues, and late start prevented full success.)

The vendor has agreed to refund the money for the seed.

That's a little something i guess, but it surely doesn't make up for lost time and energy.

That perseverance comes from my 2016 "practice" reno (okay it was twice as large but it was the back yard) as well as following the cultural practices and soil amendment recommendations from this site for a couple of years. With a reno under my belt I knew what would fill in or not and the steps to take and avoid to encourage the spread this spring. I still have a road ahead of me, but it will get there.
