Not sure what approach I should take.

I have an area in my side yard that has been bugging me. It's got quite a bit of cinquefoil and it gets lots of sun so it end up browning quick even with staying on top of watering. It's the same grass that has been there since I moved in and who knows how long before that. I believe the grass type is fine fescue in that area. So I was thinking of a few ways to tackle this part this year.

1. Get some triclopyr and treat the weeds since weed b gone is ineffective against it and then overseed to fill it in.
2. Round up the area (not sure the sq ft but it's not a huge section) and reseed with some kbg to help with the drought tolerance.
3. Round up and reseed with the same sun and shade mix I used on last year's reno section so it blends better. I think the blend is a little different this year.
31.51% shamrock kentucky bluegrass
31.36% divine perennial ryegrass
17.70% foxfire creeping red fescue
17.60% shadow II chewing fescue

.01% other crop
1.72% inert matter
.10% weed seed
That's what I found off the website.

Any tips would be appreciated. I'll snap a couple pictures of the area too and post em soon.
