Looking good! You mat be mowing more than you think before it goes to sleep for the winter.
That area by the fence looks like it stays damp with little light penetration (based on the mold on the fence boards) which could have created a problem with germination.

Lol, most of the people in the neighbourhood try to stop in front of my house for as short as possible as they don't want to be too close to the mad man that kills his lawn.
It's true, that area does get a lot of shade and does stay damp. I might try watering there 1 less time per day or maybe for less time per watering. Thanks for the thought.Jackpine wrote: ↑September 9th, 2017, 4:17 pmLooking good! You mat be mowing more than you think before it goes to sleep for the winter.

Yeah start mowing when they're 2 inches tall. Which I think may be pretty soon if you're not there already.

Re: SNOWBOB11 Bewitched Monostand Renovation 2017
Been a little while since I last posted an update. We're now at day 34 and things have really taken off since the last set of pics I posted. Even the area by the fence and a couple other small areas I reseeded are coming along quite good. At week two and three from seed down I put down .25 lb N per K using urea. Then I gave it a break and yesterday I put down about .40 lb N per K. I'll now continue weekly apps of about .50 lb N of urea the rest of the way until first frost. I've also had to cut it twice with the cheap manual reel mower I'm using for the first few cuts. First was on Saturday and yesterday I gave it the second cut. Here are the pics from this morning day 34.
I really need to take a evening shot when there's no tree shadows but these will have to do for now.

Wow, that's impressive, doesn't look like you have many major thin spots at all.

Thanks. Picture at street view and the shade from the tree probably make it look a bit better than it really is. I need to take some evening shots for sure. Having said that, over the last week or so it has filled in quite well and the remaining thin and bald spots should be able to fill in between this fall and next spring. Still far from being where I want to get it but it's on the right track so far.greenrebellion wrote: ↑September 21st, 2017, 11:58 amWow, that's impressive, doesn't look like you have many major thin spots at all.

That is doing great for 34 days. Should fill in and look like a mature lawn yet this fall.

Re: SNOWBOB11 Bewitched Monostand Renovation 2017
Yes, I'm going to do an app of Tenacity end of this month or first few days of October. After that I'll decide on whether to drop a real pre-em or not at the end of next month.

Re: SNOWBOB11 Bewitched Monostand Renovation 2017
If you have hit every blade 2x with the mower I would consider getting that pre-M down within a week, as well as tenacity (even if the latter is at a low dose). You have such awesome establishment now I think you need to keep that poa at bay.

Re: SNOWBOB11 Bewitched Monostand Renovation 2017
Thanks for the suggestion. Man, decisions decisions. I had a hole thread in the other forum asking what would be my best course of action with regards to pre-em going forward. Worked out a plan that I was going to do tenacity end of this month and prodiamine or dimension end on next month. My worry was I reseeded a couple areas 3 weeks after the initial seeding and thought it would be best to put off the prodiamine or dimension until after 60 days so as not to harm anything including the later seeded areas. I do want to make sure I don't let any poa a get any hopes of germination so I am still concidering all options. I'll be ordering my pre-em tomorrow. Between prodiamine and dimension which one would you recommend I go with? At first I was leaning towards prodiamine but might be leaning toward dimension now.
