So tbe yard had been fed 2# N so car this year. The reno area continues to improve including the center area. Alot of the light green areas have started to die on their own as i havr not applied any tenacity or other herbicides yet. Im considering letting the center of tbe reno have a bit of time to grow and do what kbg does. That will give me time to finish rear yard this year amd circle back if middle zone kbg doesn't take over along with tenacity apps and dimension applications. I was also considering a light over seeding while its still moist out before summer. I presume any new growth would stay low and not burn up since there is established growth there. Dont think i could hurt. These are all shots from todays mowing.

I thought I would update this thread with some picture updates. As the summer progressed and beat set in tbe trouble areas either died out or went dormant or a combination of both....what remains is kbg

Pictures of the same areas from todays mowing.....im going to hit the bald areas with a tenacity spot shot...and drop some seed and peat moss in those areas as time permits. Im waiting for the copious amounts of rain in PA to slow to i can kill this years reno area.

The rains have kicked the kbg into growth like a spring flush growth pattern for me....which of course is helping the bald spots close up.

Some updated pics of the 2017 Reno area. I have done nothing but mow the grass in the Reno area. I did drop pre-m in spring and it no corrective actions were taken like tenacity or overseeing at this point. I may do tenacity application soon to knock out some problems in the area before they grow to large.

I will say I doubt it would be were it is currently without all the rains we had this year in PA. I think she will be a keeper.

A few shots of all areas renovated over the last three seasons I have been at my current home. I think they came together quite nicely. Hopefully this year's rear reno which is last major area to complete recovers as I hope. Next year I will have a small area of about 4k ft to finish off on far side of my driveway to complete the 1 acre project. I am excited for bbn it to be over.

All pictures posted are from today's double cut n bag.

Finally got first fall application of N down. Dropped 100# of 46.0.0. I am also late to the pre em party also. Dropped 200# of .013 dimension over the 36k reno'd areas. Prolly drop another round of N next week with a shot of iron.....let it simmer a bit and see how many more bags of urea i need to buy before i put the mower deck away for the year.

This Reno will be two years old this fall....The pic is from a cut earlier this week. Contrast from a year ago and it's not even same ballpark.
