4gal of tenacity down on problem zone. I abandoned the wick applicator idea for now. I tested with water to see how it worked and it dripped quite a bit. I will have to see what can be down about that if anything.

Nice recovery, syntaxx!
Large lawn renovations are no joke, particularly with hills and lots of precipitation!

With all the trouble you've had that's looking really good. You make renoing large lawns look so easy.

Re: SyNTaxx 2017 renovation 17k sqft....
thanks guys for 5he support. This year has been quite challenging no doubt. I do bave a few areas to address wi5h some seed....again. We are expecting a few days of rain....raining a bit now actually. Once im certain all areas have been reseeded that washed out again...I'll fighre out next steps for the middle zone which i sprayed 4 gals of te acity solution on to atleast cripple whatever is growing there....ive bad it in other renoes and im not sure tenacity kills it completely. Ild like to hit with roundup if i can find a way with out dribbling so much on new seedlings. I have a few ideas.

You're done until that new kbg cultivar that is 5 shades darker comes out and you decide to reno again.
It's too bad about all of the washouts you had to deal with. You handled them like a champ and pushed on though. Everything is looking great Nick!

I few updated shots and some washout repairs with a few morw to go...
Some of the spots that appear bare actually have decent coverage but thw way the water flows through the property has caused it to lay over and it hanst yet stood back up. there are a few obvious areas needing reseeding....hoping they germinated before next weeks rain. i havr some seed fabric i may lay over it and sandbag to divert water ovwr or around the fabric...wr shall see.

Thanks...i appreciate the support. This year turned out to be more of a challenge than i anticipated and bigger than last years hill reno. This years area basicslly catches all the water from around my entire yard....would been an issue if not for the rains...but the rains will have saved me
about 8k gals of water already. Its a tradeoff i guess...though the water is cheaper than the extra 30# of seed. Im taking the long view I guess....next year should be a breeze by comparison.

Re: SyNTaxx 2017 renovation 17k sqft....
I spent all day at a leisurely pace lightly over seeding some thin areas and washed out areas and covering. Because of this years washouts ive exhausted what was supposed to be next years peat supply...which was a 55cuft bale. I actually bought 4 small 3cuft cubes from lowes today. I may end up buying another 55cuft bale to have on hand for next year or touch ups yet this year.

some progress shots...
So the middle zone is really hurting. I hope its not going to be a loss. Today marks a week for the 1st full strength liquid tenacity application. I will try to squeeze in another application this week. Im assuming if its bright white its going to be dead eventually. I mowed the area at probably 1.5 to 2 inches hopefully didnt vacuum up to much of the seed n peat i applied other day. After i started i figured it would have better to wait until the sprinklers ran...but i had anticipated spraying so wanted blades dry. O well. It will be a miracle if it pulls through.
