Lawn Renovation for Client - Tennessee

Post by Casutherland » August 16th, 2017, 2:25 pm

I have a client that I am about to do a total Lawn Renovation for. She has a lawn full of weeds with quite a bit of shade.

Here is my current plan:

1) Kill her entire yard with glyphosate (Compare N Save 41%) over the next few weeks. Will apply more than one round if necessary.
2) Scalp the yard down to the ground and bag up clippings a day prior to putting out seed.
3) Put out TTTF/KBG Hogan Blend out on the front/side yard.
4) Put out creeping red fescue in the back yard due to almost "total" shade.
5) Rake in bales of peat moss across entire yard.
6) Put out starter fert at recommended rate.
7) Put out Milorganite at recommended rate.

After this point I will help her set up timers and sprinklers, and leave it to her to make sure she keeps the ground moist. I stressed this to her multiple times. She is also going to hire a lawn treatment company to treat her lawn at the end of the fall. I will obviously be following up with her yard for the remainder of the fall and posting updates here.

Do you guys think this is a pretty solid plan?

I think you are handing her the keys to success for your project - I wouldn't do it.
