Seed Aide question
I've been reading a while and have a question about Seed Aides.
Do y'all recommend them? My local turf company says they have good look with them, but the reviews online are not great.
I have a larger area(about 4,000 sq.ft) that I am bout to renovate, and I really don't want to have to buy a peat moss spreader if I can avoid it.
Thanks in advance

Re: Seed Aide question
Just to clarify, I'm referring to a product like Cover Grow.

Re: Seed Aide question
Compare against peat moss and SoilMoist. Using words like "cellulose fiber" doesn't improve anything. It just costs more. There is no magic in the world.

I'd stick with peat. You don't have to buy a peat moss spreader to spread peat moss. Some spread it by hand. I use a rake. Either works just fine.

Thanks for the reply's. What should I be paying for a peat moss bale? Any brand you guys recommend? I've looked around, and prices seem to vary quite a bit in my area.

Re: Seed Aide question
Peat Moss is a commodity and brands do not matter. The stuff in 3.0 or 3.8 cu ft bales at big-box stores is OK for this.

Re: Seed Aide question
I pay $10.99 for 3.8 cuft at a local Rural King. Thats a little cheaper than the other big box stores on my area.
