I just completed a lawn renovation with very good results. However, there are a few bare spots that may require overseeding (some seeds were washed away during a rain storm).
I seeded my lawn on 08/25/17 and also applied scotts starter with tenacity. If today I were to lay down an additional round of grass seed, will the tenacity prevent these new seeds from germinating successfully?
Thanks!

Re: Overseeding after applying Tenacity
Tenacity (mesotrione) is considered safe for seeding TTTF and other cool season grasses. I applied Scotts Starter with Tenacity at the same time as seed and things are germinating quite nicely. Some grass might start to turn white but the effect should be temporary.
I did some small patches in the backyard with out tenacity and it was crabgrass city. Applied the starter with tenacity on the front yard and there's not a weed seedling in sight and it's pretty cool to see the few existing weeds I had turn bright white. haha
