Q re: Tenacity at seed time
I’m about to put seed down on my backyard reno. When using Tenacity at seed time, do you use it before or after the seed goes down, and then before or after the top dressing? I'm guessing after top dressing (thin layer of peat) to take out any weed seeds that might be in it?

You can use Tenacity either right before or after dropping seed, before the top dressing. Peat moss is naturally weed free.

Re: Q re: Tenacity at seed time
Personally, I’ve always done seed, roll, Tenacity, and then peat moss, when I’ve done all of those steps. There should be zero weed seeds in the peat moss. Peat moss tends to be absorbent; you want the Tenacity to get into the soil for a pre-emergent application, so I apply it before the peat moss.

I've done it before and after peat moss and the results didn't seem to change at all. Still works both ways.
