What’s wrong with my TTTF

Post by suffolk_lawn » October 14th, 2018, 9:11 am

2 weeks old today, my yard is still recovering from heavy rains late Thursday night. I noticed last night that a lot of the blades are breaking about halfway up as shown in the photos. My fear is damping off. Any ideas or suggestions?

I'm not saying that it's not Damping-Off, but damping-off has a tendency to break off at the soil line or near it.

Do what you can to get more air flow to the soil, and cut back on any irrigation - those are good cultural practices that discourage Damping Off.
