So I have a lawn that has been neglected (I work too much), but needs to be spruced up for some curb appeal. Does anyone know if I can use Molemax (caster oil) and ezseed at the same time? The bag I have has 6 different kinds of seeds that are native to OR and WA (I live in OR on the coast). I have no idea if they are cold or warm weather seeds, but the bag claims they will grow in shade and sun.
This is my first lawn after years of apartments, so I am clueless.
Thanks in advance.

Caster oil is not known for being an herbicide, pre-emergent or otherwise, so you should have no issue applying it concurrently with seed.
That said, with a product like Molemax, you're supposed to apply it in a sequence to push the moles or voles out of an area, which you could do before seeding.

Before you apply the grass seed, there are a few things you should know - but we need a little more information before we can be specific.
How large is the lawn (in sq ft)?
Is the seeding just to thicken it up, or are there areas that are bare?
How big a bag of EZ-Seed did you buy, and was it the "patch repair" stuff, or the "sun and shade" mix, or what?
Post a picture of the seed analysis sticker also, if you have time...
