I am not sure if I am posting in the correct place, but here it is. 5 year old sod has been horrible since install. Summer Patch grows bigger every year. Preventative measures did absolutely nothing this year with a record hot June and July. Since I planted Bewitched in a small affected area 4 years ago, it hasn't shown any signs of fungus since. That's why i am starting 4000 sq ft this year out of 30,000 sq feet over the next several years. I ordered a mix of Bewitched, Midnight, Mazama, and Award. Plan on seed down date of 08/10/20. Decided to rip out sod and add layer of top soil first. In previous years, just raking up the dead spots and planting was a waste since the Summer Patch came back in the same spot. The only part that never came back was the small Bewitched area, in which I completely removed sod and added topsoil and its been strong over 4 years.
