Question about re-seeding after applying triclopyr

Folks,

I am planning a renovation for my front yard and have a few questions related to that.

Have sent samples of soil to Logan to get a test done. As soon as that is available, will post it to the forum for interpretation. But in the meanwhile, I have started the triangle approach to getting rid of a lot of the weeds that are present.

Have put about 29 lbs of Milo down to wake up the grass/weed combination(approximately 1700 sq ft). Wait about a week or so to get the growth spurt.

Will be spraying the yard with either Crossbow or generic Triclopyr 4 to get rid of the broadleaf weeds. If I put Crossbow, it will be at the rate of about 2 fl oz per gallon per 1k sq ft. If I put Triclopyr4, it will be at the rate of about 0.75 fl oz per gallon per 1k sq ft.

Once that is done, depending on how the first application cleans up the weeds, either go for a second round or not. Then wait about 3 weeks before putting seed down.

For other types of weeds, I will be spraying RU to just nuke them or pull them up by hand. Have read that we can reseed in a couple of days after putting RU down.

Other things in the plan

Scalp the lawn
Rake as much as I can
Put seed down

Based on soil test results, start the regimen to give the grass a best chance to thrive

The seed mixture I will be putting down is the following

Seabiscuit Ryegrass - 25%
Greenville 4 Ryegrass - 25%
Shamrock KBG - 20
Lacrosse Chewing Fescue - 15%
Boreal Creeping Red Fescue - 15%

This mixture is what I got from Site One that is recommended for a mixture of sun and shade. Some part of the yard gets sun the entire day, but some gets sun only part of the day.

I realize that a lot of the work will have to be done once the soil test results are available, but in the meanwhile, are there any changes that esteemed members here can suggest for the plan above.

Since I am working remotely due to COVID, hopefully, I can monitor the watering more carefully so that I can give the grass a better chance to grow.

I have started the triangle approach to getting rid of a lot of the weeds that are present.
Either you skipped documenting a step, or you're not doing the Triangle Approach. If it's the latter, you will likely be disappointed - the Triangle Approach starts off with a three-way product like Weed-B-Gon. Jumping to the second step (Triclopyr) is going to lead to many remaining common weeds. While Triclopyr knocks out a fair number of tougher weeds, it is not labelled for some weeds that get easily whacked by three-way herbicides first.

I hope you're not thinking that "an herbicide is an herbicide" and skipping levels - it doesn't work...

Yes, I did miss documenting a step. The first step would be to spray using a generic broadleaf weed killer, I have this one, Momentum 4-Score. The makeup is

2,4-D, DMA Salt - 14.9%
Fluroxypyr-meptyl - 4.5%
Triclopyr - TEA - 4.0%
Sulfentrazone - 0.9%

The application rate for this one is about 1.7 fl oz per gallon per 1k sq ft.

That's an interesting herbicide to do the Level 1 weed control. It already has some amount of Triclopyr in it. It'll be interesting to see if it nails the Level 2 weeds also...

I don't know but the question would be is 8% as mentioned in the "triangle approach" something that is a bare minimum in order to really hammer away at the level 2 weeds.

This one only has 4%.
