Hats off to you. It was very nice of you to take on its task and you’ve been able to apply techniques to start turning things around for this field that can be appreciated by all. A year from now? I would guess if you stick to it it’s going to look even better!

To anyone reading this. Three years ago I knew nothing about turf grass management. There are great people with archives of great advice on this site. Some of the other lawn sites really aren't administered and a lot of crazy stuff gets posted, repeated and passed around.

Haha.. I'm sure it could be a job for life. I've been push mowing the in field twice a week. Today I wandered around with my back pack sprayer loaded with triclopyr. I couldn't hardly find any thing to spray, other than Poa Trivialis. I'd like to do a highlite spray with Tenacity and see how much is lurking, but a lot of grass is germinating from my seed banking... so I'll wait.
I think in the spring I'll use pre emergent and whenever spring baseball ends... hit it with Tenacity if it's not too late.
