Re: The 2011-???? Renovator's Toolkit
I have some questions about the soilmoist product. If I buy the larger sized product, can I run it through my cast iron coffee mill? How fine does it have to be for KBG seed? What is the recommended ratio to seed in pounds? Is it most economical at Lowes? Or is there a better source for it?

It's not worth trying to convert it, except if you can't find the product anywhere. Grinding it or running it through a blender, etc does work, but it is a pretty big heath risk if done indoors. It makes a lot of dust, and if the dust is inhaled it can get into your lungs and then expand (as it absorbs water) into a jello-like substance - it grows to 200X it's original size. Not recommended.

On the up side, it's likely that the coronavirus won't like that, so perhaps it can be suggested as a treatment.
