some day I will start from seeds. Life keeps me a little busy right now. (18 month old, 6 yr old, new job etc). There is also that I tend to not mess with stuff as often as I should. Only reason my garden does ok is that it is on irrigation with a timer. Set it and forget it, when I think about it I give the plants some fish emulsion.

Potted up the tomatoes Thursday.

That, or the light feeding got them moving again. They'll just be a little behind "schedule"

I have some in the ground now... last year was a flop for me. I am trying two new areas of the yard rather than count on my two small raised beds... most are lifted on hills... I'm going to be fighting Bermuda grass as the season progresses though.

Delivered 10 of the plants to their new home today.

They grow up so fast.

Meant to get these in the ground this weekend, but mower problems prolonged that job and delayed others. :)

That second pic is a 1/4 Century tomato plant.

They make the coolest looking compact plants, IMO.

2015 Tomatoes

Post by SACole » April 27th, 2015, 10:06 pm

Looking good. I took my raised bed up after adding a swing set. I haven't had a chance to till my new garden yet but I planted two tomatoes in large pots and the first one has a tomato already.

On a side note, I have the same patio furniture as you.

Dang! Tomatoes already? Lucky dog!

That's pretty funny about the furniture. :rotfl: We really enjoy ours.

We just got ours from wife's sister and brother in law. They were getting rid of them because the cat left too much hair on the cushions.

They're in the ground and growing.

My red currant cherries are starting to make buds.

Everything is behind. Weather is staying high 70's, so it could stand to be warmer to help things along.

I refuse to complain about it not being hot enough though. That's like complaining about rain or too much money, IMO. :D

I'm patient. I'll wait. :rotfl:
