Tomato germination.

So... my wife has a few tomato plants and when we cut this one open, this is what we found. Is this not totally weird? The seeds started to germinate inside the fruit!

I've never seen that happen before. That's pretty strange.

I thought for sure those were worms..

I guess it isn't too rare, a quick google search shows much cooler pictures of this phenomenon.

Interesting, I've never experienced this. Do you think it has anything to do with the type or time left on the vine?
