I have more started and they are just starting to peek through. The heat really took it's toll this year though. I also need to restart my compost pile. I turned it a week or so ago (HOLY WORMS BATMAN!) and have some weeds popping up from the sod strips I put in there. I was hoping I killed most of the seeds, but apparently not. There's no way I'm putting this down in the yard as it is right now.
I'm building a bigger 6x6 bin to start a new pile and to finish this one. I will probably just add the new additions and this old pile together in the bigger bin and monitor the temperature closely. Hopefully I can cure over the winter. This old bin will then be promoted to another garden.
The tomatoes are doing okay. We've only got one cherry off of them so far. The heat seems to have slowed everything down. I have a bunch of peppers fruiting, and the jalapeno has about a dozen fruits on it. I've only picked a few handful of beans, but I'm not worried about it.

Unfinished compost. We saved all of our scraps over the winter and I added about 100lbs of coffee, a few yards of sod that I took out to make way for the hostas, etc. It's about 1/3 its original size.
This cherry is over 6' tall now!
Heirlooms
This bean plant is hungry for tomato it seems.
A few green peppers (hard to see, sorry)
Two more heirlooms and a cherry started a few weeks later, plus another pole bean and about 100 carrots (sown) plus 50 green onions (sown).
5 peppers up front, Jalapeno, red roasting and green bell.
2 Heirloom tomatoes, 1 cherry. Onions (leeks) are in there somewhere.
1 pole bean that is quickly taking over the garden and making its way to attack the orange watering bucket.
