Here are some pictures of an Autumn Blaze Maple we just had planted. I couldn't be happier with the color! Does anyone have any of these planted in your yards? If so I'd love to see the pictures!

I have one that I planted back in 2002 with a 3 1/2" trunk. I wish I had a picture of it during the fall. It has grown fast. It has to be over 20ft high now and the trunk is over 10" diameter. Watch out - the squirrels love it and eat the bark.

I'm a Mapleholic, too. I have a Sugar Maple, a Crimson King, a Red Sunset, a Weeping Laceleaf Japanese and my pride-and-joy - a 120-year old glorious Norway (named "Bertha") that is just stunning. I added a Coral Bark Maple to the collection this year. It's still a bit wimpy, but the bright red bark is certainly attention-grabbing in the drab days of midwinter.

Oh, and I probably have 50 wild maples of indeterminate heritage that are just part of the edge of the property.
