Lost a tree

I was out of town, but we had a wind storm. Some of my neighbors cleaned up most of the mess, so this was all I came back to.

Always sad to lose a tree! It was nice that your neighbors took care of it for you!

I was going to try taking care of the rest of it myself, but gave up and hired a guy. He was going to grind it, but changed his mind and pulled it out with a bobcat and a chain. I've got a slight mound there now, but I'm sure it'll settle over time.

It was an aspen, so I'm guessing I'll be mowing suckers all summer (maybe longer).
