Thoughts on Deep Drip Watering Stakes?

Does anyone have any experience with these?

The builder put gatorbags on the trees, but with my travel schedule, I can't get out there and fill them up 2-3 times a week like I'd like.

With these, I can hook them into my drip line for the foundation and then they will get watered "automatically".

I've got 2 young bur oaks in my yard and I'd like to keep them from dying. They are the mandatory 3" caliper measured 6" above the rootball. So they are still pretty young and were planted in early May.

I use them and they are exactly what any root wants - air and water. I use 3 each(14") around my new plantings.
