fertilizing leylands

Post by timingchainslipped » August 28th, 2016, 1:05 am

so i have about 30 leylands that are 15' tall.
a few 20' arbovitaes. and a mixed bunch of 6' tall evergreens.
they were all just recently planted with nothing but a little sprinkle of TSP upon transplatation.

what do i fertilize them with? i had their bed soil tested if you need the results.
is it bad to BLSC/KH their beds?

I have had good luck so far with miracle grow fertilizer stakes however dont expect much the first year. Best thing is be patient with them and watch out for spider mites!
