Evergreen Yearly Growth
I have about 10 evergreens I planted over the past two years. 8-9' trees and I was wondering how much growth I should see out of them? I've heard 12-18" but I wondered if others would support that real life vs what a nursery says.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Evergreen Yearly Growth
I have Canadian hemlock, blue spruce, Norway, Serbian and fraizer fur. I made a loose screen/border on a neighbor side so I'm more concerned with the height.
Thanks!

Re: Evergreen Yearly Growth
The blue spruce trees planted by the previous owner are very large. I know they were planted at a couple of feet tall, 20 years later they're 20 plus feet tall and quite large in diameter. I have two Norway spruce trees. They too have grown but at a snails pace compared to the other spruce and white pines I have. In their defense the Norway's have been sick with something for some time and I don't think I they were sited too well. My parents have a pair of Hemlocks, they're also very slow growing but are kept under a ton of shade from oaks and maples.
