Yoshino & Deodar Cedar NEED CPR!!!
I planted a about thirty trees this spring and I have two that look like they are just about DEAD. Odd thing is they are in the same flowerbed. All the Shrubs and Flowers next to them are fine but those two trees are not looking to good one is a Yoshino flowering Cherry and the other is a Deodar Cedar tree (golden). How can I give them CPR

28 out of thirty isn't a bad average in the slightest...
Photos would help. It could be disease, over- or under-watering, insects...the list is miles long, and Yoshino cherry trees are definitely a tree that can have any and all of those problems.

I want to see a picture showing the trunk of the tree where the soil hits it.
Why does the cedar look dead? Because the top is toppled over??

I will put one on tomorrow. No all the needles are on the ground and it looks horrible. I did notice today that the top of the tree the branches are dry and could "snap" but the the ones near the bottom are now becoming very flexible? The guy at the tree farm told me to give it B1???

Interesting. Several members of this forum have looked for conclusive research showing the benefit of B vitamins (B1 specifically) - no such proof has been found. You can read that discussion on this thread.justin25 wrote:The guy at the tree farm told me to give it B1???
I can't answer why you have a problem, but I'm kinda with Morph on this one - not too bad a success ratio for planting trees. Beyond that, we'll want photos, caliper size, how they were planted, etc. And then we'll all say 'hmmmmmm' in our most profound tones.
