Cherry and Dogwood trees

Hello everyone,
Well I purchased 3 trees, 2 Kwanzan cherry and 1 flowering Dogwood. I plan to plant them respectively in the same area of my backyard. I'm in RI zone 7a I believe. I understand these trees need good drainage and are prone to disease. My plan is to plant them in a compost/loom mix and add some bio-tone to help get things going. Anyone here familiar with these trees? Got any advice for me?!
