This looks like some kind or ornamental birch? It started “dying” from the top last fall. This spring it looks like it’s completely dead, but there are some branches that have new leaves, but they are shriveling. I’ve taken a number of pictures, not quite sure what I’m up against, or if it’s time to cut it down.
