Recommendation for Poison Ivy killer around shrubs and inside arborvitaes

I just got poison ivy for the first time in my life. Figures I was weeding in shorts, T-shirt, and no gloves inside my 30’ arborvitaes. I believe I identified some of the plants that I now want to get rid of. I plan to cut them (better suited up this time) and spray near the bottom/vine. My concern is all of the killers on the market are ivy/brush it appears. I’m concerned that spraying just the ivy there might be leakage or possibilities harm the arborvitaes. Thoughts?

I just pulled a couple seedlings yesterday by (bare) hand. Knowledge is key...and so is a full-on onslaught against poison ivy when you first move to an infested property. Beautiful plant. But not on my watch.

FWIW, not exactly a cool-season grasses topic.

I'd go with Around the yard/Shrubs. Heck, search for poison ivy and see where others have posted.

+1 HLG. And *don't* try cutting first and then treating -- it works far better if absorbed through the leaves, back to the roots. Cutting at ground level is counterproductive.
