Oakleaf Hydrangea help

Post by bauer time » June 25th, 2017, 8:32 pm

My oakleaf Hydrangea I planted a few months ago is starting to brown on the flowers and leaves. It gets a few hours of morning sun and the rest of the day shade. It's possible I was watering it too much as it got established. Picture attached, any suggestions are welcome.

May be a drainage issue? Hydrangeas like moist but not wet.

So, I have not been watering this plant but it remains the same. Can anyone tell me if this is possibly a disease and next steps to try and save it?
