Annuals aren't just for summer. I started this in October from collected seed, and it's been blooming for months indoors. At this rate, it'll still be blooming when it's time to go outside for summer (it won't take the transfer well or quickly being an indoor plant, but it'll manage if handled slowly).
This one lives on my windowsill, lit with 40 additional watts of LED lighting in the evenings until I go to bed.
