Northeast: Nor'easter This Weekend

If you've got time, prepping your yard for a Nor'easter this weekend is probably a good idea - some of the remains of Hurricane Willa (now in Mexico) will feed moisture into a system that will develop into a Nor'easter at or just off the coast on Saturday. Heavy rains and lots of wind will be from Philadelphia north along the coast. Snow inland is a possibility, which can mean issues where leaves are still on the trees.

Get those leaves that are on the ground mulched in - it will be much tougher if they get soggy and matted - and tougher still if we get freezing temperatures and the mats freeze, after the storm passes...

I mowed yesterday. Now more leaves are back after a day of wind. I will mow again before the storm. Unfortunately though, high winds will make more come down during it. But at least it won't be as many as if I don't mow again.
