Northeast: Nor'easter Slams the Door on the Season

Well. if you haven't put everything to bed and the tools all away, time is up.

From Washington DC to New England, here comes the storm that will slam the door shut. Here (Lower Hudson Valley about 50 miles north of NYC) we're going to get 12" - 17" of snow and 45 mph winds, Wednesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon.

Ugh! Luckily, we're pretty ready. How about you?

Put the mower away last Sunday..moved it to back of shed. Took snow blower out yesterday. Checked oil, fueled it up, started it and parked it in the front of the garage. Ready!!

Pretty much ditto. I've winterized the lawnmower and prepped the snowblower. The current forecast says 20" of snow with more possible.

Did the last cut of the year over lunch. Took off about a quarter-inch.

We are looking at 12-to-18-inches of snow.

Schrodinger's Century, when nothing that isn't filmed actually happened...or did it? :-)
