Looking for a deterrence to the birds who frequently poke around in my garden looking for worms & what not.
Leave holes in the beds.
Mulch strewn all over the walk paths.
Was thinking of a liquid mix based around Neem oil+tobasco+cayan pepper but haven't seen anything like that posted on the web....
Feedback - would be appreciated.

Re: Countermeasures to Birds in Garden?
Note that birds are not irritated by capsaicin the way that mammals are. Plants in the genus Capsicum developed capsaicin to deter mammals from eating the fruits while allowing birds to distribute the seeds. In other words, hot pepper is not a deterrent to birds.
P.S. Free range 18 chickens and then we'll talk about digging and strewn mulch.
