Flea infestation
My inlaws have a major flea problem. I would normally spray their yard down with permethrin, but they have some outdoor cats and from what I am reading, permethrin is dangerous to cats.
What can I buy in concentrate form to mix in my backpack sprayer to spray their yard?

I'd stop by a Site One outlet. They have a lot of such products and probably have a better sense about what kind of products you can legally apply.

I have never even heard of this place. I did however find a locally owned place that sells insecticides, herbicides, etc.

I will look into those, I was actually looking at them yesterday at Home Depot. I wish I could get rid of the cats! My father in law, however, is attached to them. They are all strays that showed up and he began feeding them so of course they hang around!

Re: Flea infestation
We once bought a house and found out it had fleas shortly after moving in. Both our cat and dog ended up having them. I used a spray called Mycodex which worked great. I'm not sure if they have a spray for the yard but Advantage would be a good one. I also used Dawn dish soap on the cat and dog. They say it kills fleas. There's a pill called Capstar that will kill all fleas on the animal within I think a few hours but it wears off after 24 hours. It's more of a 1 or 2 time thing while trying to kill other fleas and waiting for the month long animal flea product to stary working. If you don't treat the cats monthly the fleas will be back. I use Frontline for our cat and Nexgaurd for our dog. After using the Mycodex, Dawn for baths, Capstar, Frontline, and Nexgaurd I had all the fleas knocked out in less than a week. By the way, the Mycodex can be sprayed directly on the animal too. It's not just for spraying objects or areas.

Re: Flea infestation
I have also faced this situation. This is just horrible. Thanks for the pest removal team who helped me in clearing the infestation.
