The Hosta From Hell
Last year I dug up a Hosta that hadn't been split in a long time. It had a massive 138 eyes (I really counted). I split it four ways and replanted the divisions.
The one that is in the best spot has reached its full size for the season. It is massive again - almost four foot across. I am almost scared to go near it - whatever it is eating is being eaten in quantity.

I've always enjoyed pics of your hosta beds, now we need eye pictures.
I have two huge ones that I've purposely been waiting to divide. But I'd guess they are nowhere near your 130+ eyes.

Re: The Hosta From Hell
Since I'm not digging that one up and you said you like the hosta bed pix, here's one of the hosta/fern beds that I don't shoot much - the Bay Windows bed. None of the Hosta in this bed are older than 4 years old. The lawn to the left is recovering from Certainty and Tenacity.

Wow, Andy! Your Hostas are spectacularly healthy. Anyone would be in awe at how you've provided the growing conditions for such fine specimens. Beautiful!!

Re: The Hosta From Hell
Just native ferns as the green ones. There are Japanese Painted Ferns toward the front of the bed, but they are barely visible at the 10 o'clock position in the picture.
