I've got an area in my yard that I just don't know what to do. It is under some elm trees with a little sun in the morning and afternoon shade. It's also on a slope that tends to wash off during heavy rains. I'm thinking about using sedum sieboldii as a ground cover as I've read it will grow in part shade. Is this a wise choice? If so, I'd like to add some other things with it to add more interest. The rest of our beds are xeriscaped with cactus and native texas species, so would like to stick with that type plant. I'm located near Waco, Tx if that helps. Here are a couple of pics to give yall a better idea what I'm dealing with.
