Rainbird 32eti vs normal way

Post by CenlaLowell » March 20th, 2017, 11:15 pm

I've been researching the 32eti vs hooking to my water meter with a controller and all that jazz. My spigot produces 11 GPM don't know the pressure yet. My question is shouldn't the water meter produce 11 GPM too. What is the difference? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question. ;)

Not necessarily. The water coming into your house from the main is most likely through a bigger pipe than what the rest of your house is plumbed with (including the hose bibbs). A bigger pipe will yield more GPM.
