Rainbird Spray Heads compatible with Hunter Pro Spray bodies?

Post by Green » March 23rd, 2017, 9:35 pm

It seems that Rainbird spray heads ("nozzles" as the manufacturers call them) are compatible with Hunter spray bodies. For example, a Rainbird spray head can be attached to a Hunter Pro Spray series body. Can anyone confirm this? Also, are there any caveats?

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you buy the correct thread orientation. Plenty of people put spray heads right on 1/2" NPT PVC. Just factor in the PSI of the Pro Strays if you have the pressure regulating models.

Thanks. I assumed it would work fine. One thing I'm set on, is Hunter spray bodies (the ones with pressure regulation). They seem to be the most durable when you look at the tests.
