Any reason for large sticks to be buried in a yard?
Would there be any reason for someone to bury large sticks straight up in a yard?
There's a spot in our backyard that our dogs simply won't stop digging in. We finally inspected inside today and found about two dozen large sticks sticking straight up in the yard. We dug in about two feet and finally stopped finding them. Is this a technique for filling in a hole maybe? It's obvious that they were put there intentionally, we just want to make sure that removing them isn't going to be an issue for the lawn.
We were hoping for Jimmy Hoffa, but just found this cut rock at the bottom.

Have you live at the house for a long time or are you new to it? Possible someone buried their dog there

We've only lived here about a year. We were expecting to find some sort of bones but we didn't. Dogs are digging at the spot more than ever now

I found 2 5 gallon buckets and 30ft of hose about 3 inches below the grass today.

My fence blew over a month after buying our house. A few months after that we found the bottoms of the fence posts burried on top of the septic. The seller didnt want to dig holes for the fence so they cut them off and buried them..
So who knows what or why lol could have been a kid playing
