I was thinking of buying n installing a sprinkler system for my 2200 sq.ft front lawn. The property is "L" shaped..... two straight rectangular sections.
The budget is only $500.

Very doable, I did the same thing last year for about the same price.
Do all the labor yourself and you can do it too. One thing I would have done different is make sure I have full head to head coverage. Some areas are kind of a stretch because of the lay of the land but you can make it work.
