Skydrop adding a subscription fee
Just got an email from skydrop that they will be charging for their cloud service starting next week. 1.99 a month. As a skydrop user for many years this is now pushing me to go with another company. It does not seem like a lot and I have run it for many years. I never used the smart water feature. I liked for my reno's, overseed's, adjustments as well as quick syringing when it got too hot. Am I being petty? Is this the direction the enitre market will be going? Is this a sign that skydrop is on it way out? Costco has the Rachio 3 available. I do not think it comes with the flow meter thought which I find interesting.
