Rainbird Sprinkler System Running on days it shouldn't

I've been in my house for less than a year and it came with a Rainbird Sprinkler System so I'm a novice about it. I've been using it for a while with out any problems. However the last time I just the system to only water 2 days a week and increased the running time it is now running every night. I saw on Rainbirds website that the days to water is for the entire system and not per designated zones. Which negated my theory that maybe you have to set the days to water for every zone. Does anyone know why this may be happening or what I might've done incorrectly?
