Brisket is smokin'

Post by Yossarian » July 4th, 2015, 12:48 am

I'm taking it off at 3am and transferring to the oven (I'm not a morning person). Then it's coming out of the oven at around 10am or so and hanging out in a cooler until the herd arrives. Yummm

I have a pork butt on my egg right now. I wish my family liked brisket. Next time I see a point I'm getting it for myself.

Im doing St Louis cut ribs tomorrow.

Ive yet to cook a good brisket, not for the lack of trying. But some time bad home smoke BBQ is better than the mass produced from chain BBQ restaurants.

Don't know about yall but mine turned out amazing.

I changed how I did mine this time. I went around 320 till 170 then put in a pan and covered with foil till 200. Wrapped in foil and towel and a cooler for 3 hours.

Pulled right before and it was sooooo juicy and tender.
