Very nice that the display rotates. I found myself the other day trying to read mine upside down and then awkwardly switching hands while holding something to get it to orient the right way.

Interesting! Still not convinced it is worth over 3X as much as their Thermopop model though.

I recently bought the Thermopop. I really wanted the Thermapen MK4 but in the end just bring myself to spend that much more. Maybe someday.

I am liking the Thermopop. My first experience with them and it has been really helpful in cooking meats to the proper doneness on the grill. I have taken things off much earlier or later than I would have prior to using the thermometer. Can't wait to use it for steaks.

One thing I am not crazy about with the Thermopop is the small size. It can be very difficult to use over a hot grill. I wonder if the Thermapen is longer?

I often use a mitt even with the Thermopen.

I use tongs to remove food that is on the center of grill before using my Thermopop to avoid getting my hands burned.Great thermometer for the price.

I don't use any glove when checking temps with my Thermopen MK4. It seems to have a long enough reach to keep me safe.

This looks nice!

I may get one if my $10 digital one from academy ever craps out.... Not sure if it's gonna happen LOL. Tough little thermometer.

Haha....thanks Ware!

Yea the Thermopop is 6" or 7" long at most. The extra length of the Thermapen would be nice. I can always upgrade :)
